Kontakt Player is a free, stripped down version of Kontakt. It only allows to use libraries that have been specifically coded to be used in said software.
Kontakt FULL is the complete version of Kontakt that allows you to create your own instruments or open third-party libraries like ours. ALL our libraries require the FULL version of Kontakt.
It’s very easy to check which version of Kontakt you own. Just open Kontakt and look at the top-left of the interface: if you have the free Player, you will see a big “Kontakt Player” text showing up. Otherwise, you have the full version.
